Unilorin might screen returning students over Ebola Virus fear

The Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilorin, Prof. AbduGaniyu Ambali, has hinted of a massive Ebola screening of students after unveiling anti- Ebola kits for the university.



Speaking at the unveiling of the Preventive kits at the university’s health centre today, the Vice Chancellor revealed that the kit will be used to battle and prevent the deadly disease in the campus.



‘The procurement of the anti-Ebola kits is part of the university’s preparedness to tackle the epidemic headlong when the students return.’


The kits include face masks, boots, hand gloves, automatic soap dispenser, infra-red thermometer and disposable bed spreads while the committee in-charge of the innovation would place hand sanitisers in strategic locations on the campus such as the senate building, faculties, walkways and the Unilorin FM station
