The ban was effected when protesting students in 2005 destroyed the residence of the then VC, Prof. Oye Ibidapo-Obe, among many other property belonging to the university.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rahmon Bello, announced the lifting of the ban during the institution’s matriculation on Friday. No fewer than 6, 644 were admittedto the school for the 2014/2015 academic session.
